Desiree Woodward-Lee | Director & Owner

Desiree is a seasoned and professional Hawaiian and Tahitian Dancer. Her Hawaiian heritage inspires her to continue her career in Hawaiian and Tahitian Dance. She moved from Hawaii to San Francisco in 2004 and began dancing with Nemenzo Polynesian Dance Company, where she has danced until December 2015. Her credentials has been enhanced being one first five graduates of the Conservatoire Artistique de la Polynesie Francaise “Te Fare Upa Rau” sanctioned by the Ministry of Culture in Papeete, Tahiti and certified to teach Ori Tahiti. She is also the only individual to have the prestigious “Mamie Louise Prix” certificate, which allows her to be an ambassador of the Tahitian Dance Culture abroad.

Kristopher Lee | Director of Orchestra

Kris has an avid interest in the Tahitian arts, inspired by his heritage as a Hawaiian, Tahitian, Japanese mix. He joined Nemenzo Polynesian Dance Company in 2002. Kris has been recognized as the ”voice” in past group vocal presentations as well as his skill in Tahitian Drumming. His skill in Tahitian drumming and music has taken him around California and abroad as well.
